Twitter restricts user's account for tweeting that Kyle Rittenhouse was a hero: Eighteen-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse was charged with first-degree murder after he killed two men and injured another in self-defense during one of the 2020 Antifa riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He was later acquitted on all counts. Tweeted snapshots showed that Twitter had forced a user to delete a Nov. 10 tweet saying, "Absolutely a Hero!! #RittenhouseIsATrueHero." Twitter claimed the tweet violated its "rules against glorifying violence." In addition, the snapshots indicated that Twitter limited some of the user's account features for more than eight hours. The user captioned the tweet of the snapshots, "I got banned by Twitter for saying Rittenhouse is a hero."
