Facebook shut down group organizing Stop the Steal rallies to fight voter fraud: After the election, a Facebook group was formed called Stop the Steal. The group said: "We need boots not he ground to protect the integrity of the vote." It encouraged people to donate money to help send watchers to key battleground states, and was listed as a co-host on 12 different Facebook protest events. Facebook claims that some comments started calling for violence, and this is what led it to shut down the group. A statement from spokesman Andy Stone said, "The group was organized around the delegitimization fo the election process, and we saw worrying calls for violence from some members of the group."
