YouTube puts context label on Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. video: YouTube imposed a fact-checking label on a video created by Independent candidate for President Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.'s team titled "How To Vote For RFK Jr. In California." This video was to educate California voters about the need to change their voter registration in order to help Kennedy get onto the California ballot. YouTube placed a context label on the video that linked to the Bipartisan Policy Center page titled "Mail Voting is Safe and Secure." The text of the note read "Mail ballots submitted by voters who meet eligibility and validity requirements are counted in every election. Before they are counted, election officials vigorously verify the validity of every mail ballot submission." It is unclear why YouTube placed this context label on the video, which explains how Kennedy wishes to gain access to the California ballot through the new We The People Party, and how voters can register under this party to help make this effort a success, and has nothing to do with voting by mail.
