Twitter censors user for tweeting about study on Ivermectin from the JAMA: A Twitter user tweeted a screenshot of his censorship notice. He had tweeted: "MY OH MY 'A new paper recently published in the Journal of the AMA (JAMA) shows that #Ivermectin works WAY BETTER than the #COVID19 #vaccine in keeping you from dying from COVID...' along with a link to an article about the study. Twitter found this tweet to violate its rules on "spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19." The user was forced to delete the tweet in order to regain access to his account, but he appealed the decision. The 6 day, 8 hour read-only account restriction hat Twitter also levied will not begin until the appeal is complete or the user deletes the tweet. The user was using an alt account to report the violation.
