Pamela Geller

Twitter suspends Pamela Geller: Twitter once again suspended the account of conservative activist Pamela Geller. Geller is known for her successful efforts to prevent an Islamic community center and mosque from being built near the site of the 9/11 attacks in New York City. Twitter booted Geller for violating the platform's rules about election integrity, according to a notice sent to Geller about her suspension. The notice also said that if Geller attempted to "evade a permanent suspension by creating new accounts," Twitter would suspend those as well. "If you wish to appeal this suspension, please contact our support team," it concluded. A report on Geller's website said that "there is no doubt" an appeal of her current suspension would be denied. "Twitter’s wonks are judge, jury, and executioner, and no one can question their sagacity or righteousness of their decisions," the article said. It also rebuked any notion that Geller may have disseminated false information about the election. "What Pamela Geller did, of course, was simply report on the many irregularities and unanswered questions regarding the 2020 presidential election."
