Twitter censors user for tweet about transgenderism: A Twitter user shared a screenshot of his censorship notice. He tweeted "A gay man with mental illness." The user claimed that he was "leaving a comment in response to a video - not a PERSON - but a video where a trans individual was giving their (incorrect) opinions on legislation to protect minors." The user's account was locked by Twitter, citing a violation of its "rules against hateful conduct." The user appealed, and was "denied within 5 minutes." Once the user deleted the tweet, his account was then restricted to read-only mode. The user claimed this was for one week. The screenshot indicated at least five hours.
