RedState and Weasel Zippers writer Nick Arama has had her Twitter account suspended. While she has not been told yet why it was suspended, she suspects that it is related to an article and series of tweets that she wrote about an Obama administration official, Andy Slavitt, who had lied about a lack of ventilators at a NY hospital. The article that she wrote is here: https://www.redstate.com/nick-arama/2020/03/27/obama-official-busted-for-spreading-false-story-about-hospital-lacking-ventilators-making-decisions-not-to-treat-people/.
Nick believes that either this article, or her subsequent tweets to Slavitt calling him a liar, are what got her suspended. However, she also said that she was getting a lot of bot traffic to some of her tweets that were related to COVID-19, and suspects that she may have been mass reported by the bots or others as a result. This may also have led to her suspension. Twitter has not been forthcoming with information yet, so this is a best guess as to why her account was suspended on March 26 and not yet released.
Nick also believes that nothing she tweeted violated the Twitter TOS, and her three appeal submissions have gone unanswered as yet.
