YouTube removed video of user discussing Time Magazine article about a 'cabal' 'fortifying' the 2020 presidential election: On February 4, 2021, Time Magazine published an article by Molly Ball titled "The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election." In it, she explained the "secret history of the 2020 election," wherein "a well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information." She went on to excuse this behavior, stating that "[t]hey were not rigging the election; they were fortifying it." A vlogger named Nicholas Tutora recorded a short video discussing this article and published it on YouTube shortly after the article came out in early February. On March 12, he wrote on Twitter that YouTube had banned the video. Likely this was due to YouTube's policies on spreading election misinformation. However, this Time Magazine article has not been deemed by any major social media platform yet to be "misinformation," so it is unclear what issue YouTube had with this video.
