Twitch gave a user an indefinite suspension allegedly for saying "gender is a fact:" A user tweeted that Twitch suspend the user's account for saying "gender is a fact." Screenshots provided by the user show that the platform claimed the user violated its Community Guidelines on "Hateful Conduct." Twitch elaborated that the policy prohibits "Promoting, encouraging or facilitating the discrimination or denigration of a group of people based on their protected characteristics," according to screenshots. The photos also show that Twitch explained that the user's "suspension will not be automatically lifted. Access to [its] services may only be restored upon successful appeal."
