Twitter suspends MRC's Michael Chapman when he commented on the Gabby Petito murder: MRC CNSNews managing editor, Michael Chapman, tweeted in reference to the Gabby Petito murder case. "Whoever killed her, I hope they hang in the public square. ...Officers search Florida home of Gabby Petito's boyfriend," he said. The platform permanently suspended Chapman's account for  "[v]iolating [its] rules against abuse and harassment." He appealed Twitter's decision and is awaiting a response from the platform.

**Update** Twitter reinstated Chapman's account on September 22, 2021.
