Twitter restricts MRC's Curtis Houck for allegedly distributing hacked material: Curtis Houck, the managing editor for the Media Research Center's Newsbusters, has had several of his account features restricted and three of his tweets removed for violating Twitter's rules against distributing hacked material. The sanctions are a result of Houck tweeting the link to a New York Post article that had been disabled by Twitter from being able to be tweeted, as well as his tweeting of a thread of links to pictures of that article. As a result, Houck can not tweet, retweet, follow or like for 12 hours. The NY Post article was disabled by Twitter for lacking authoritative reporting on where the sourcing material of the article originated.
