Twitter censors MRC employee over a meme: Austin Reeder, a member of the Media Research Center's marketing team, was censored by Twitter over a meme. Reeder tweeted "Hey @JoeBiden!" along with a meme showing an image of an incandescent light bulb and the text, "Come and take it." This was in reference to the recent ban on incandescent light bulbs implemented by the Biden administration. Twitter claimed this tweet violated its "rules against hateful conduct." As a result, Reeder's account was locked until he deleted the tweet, after which his account would be placed in a read-only restricted mode for 12 hours.  Reeder appealed the decision and finally Twitter agreed that the tweet was not a violation. The tweet is still available on his feed.
