Mike Davis

Mike Davis, President of the Internet Accountability Project, suspended from Twitter: Big Tech critic Mike Davis was suspended by Twitter. After many media outlets asked Twitter about the suspension, it was quickly reversed, with a note to Davis explaining that his account was accidentally flagged automatically as spam. Davis wasn't buying the excuse. He tweeted: "And @Twitter's explanation is bogus, as one of its representatives privately told one of the inquirers that I was suspended for "hatred and violence" -- whatever the hell that means" He tweeted more on his opinion on what got him in trouble: "Below is likely the tweet that @Twitter used as the pretext to suspend me. (The real reason is that I run @The_IAP, a leading critic of @Twitter’s censorship of conservatives.) And I 100% stand behind my tweet below — and will triple down on @The_IAP’s fight against Big Tech." The tweet that he was referencing read: "Federal, state, and local law enforcement must *never* tolerate *any* political violence. Prosecute *all* of them — not just based upon their political views. #BLM and #antifa#WokeQaeda — domestic terrorists have been terrorizing American cities for 8 months. Lock ‘em up." However, that tweet has not been removed, so it is unclear if that is in fact the reason that Twitter suspended his account.
