LinkedIn hides account of journalist who covers Chinese news and related issues: Axios reported that LinkedIn censored certain content in China, including content produced by Melissa Chan, an independent journalist who works out of Berlin. She tweeted a screenshot of an email she recieved from the platform that read "due to the presence of prohibited content located in the Publications section of your LinkedIn profile, your profile and your public activity such as your comments and items you share with your network, will not be made viewable in China." Chan tweeted that she was unsure which exact content would have moved LinkedIn to restrict her content in China: "Could be many things — from this year's piece about Uyghurs in exile, to my essay on democracy," she suggested.
