YouTube Suspended Podcaster for Reporting on Study from Scientific Journal: YouTube suspended and issued a strike against Matt Christiansen for posting a link to a video in which he reported on a new study. The study suggested that the rise of excess deaths in the past few years may have been caused by COVID-19 vaccines. Matt's original video that he linked to is still up on the platform although YouTube has labeled the video with a COVID-19 vaccine disclaimer. Christiansen had two strikes on his channel until his earlier strike expired on June 10, which could have led to the removal of his whole channel. YouTube's strike notification listed that the video was removed for violating the platform's policy on "medical misinformation." Christiansen pointed out that he was simply referencing scientific studies that were peer-reviewed and that YouTube may be the ones guilty of being wrong. "YouTube's gonna call me anti-science when we've got peer-reviewed scientific journal publication that they say is unspeakable on their platform," said Christiansen on his podcast.
