Twitter censors user for ridiculous reason: A Twitter user shared a screenshot of his censorship notice. In commenting about the censorship, he noted that he "was locked out of [his] account for 12 hours bc apparently tweeting a video of ::checks notes:: snow falling from the sky (literally) is posting/sharing private media of someone without their express consent." The user had tweeted "It's snowing in #Atlanta," with the described video. The screenshot indicated that Twitter's terrible AI algorithm did indeed flag the tweet for "[v]iolating [its] rules against posting or sharing privately produced/distributed intimate media of someone without their express consent." The user's account was locked until he deleted the tweet. The twelve hour account restriction could not be confirmed.
