On Saturday, April 11, user received notice that his account had been put on a 3 day restriction for violating the following policy. He was only able to follow one new user every 3 minutes for those 3 days.
User reported the following to me about this restriction: "I've been persistently and tenaciously building my follower base daily. I use Tweepi to look for people to unfollow who haven't tweeted in three months or more. I also use tweepy to load a private list of about 150 people to follow every day. I have found that following and groups of 26 at a time keeps me safe. And, I try to be careful not to exceed following 400 per day, per Twitter rules. Everything had been running perfectly for months, maybe even years, and all of a sudden I get a 3-day suspension. I have noticed I can follow one person every 3 minutes." "I have no idea what triggered this. Twitter said I violated their follow policies. If so, I have no idea what that was. I'm not using any follow tools, no automation, only lists & trains that I'm on ... I'm not doing any trains, not following other's followers, I'm pretty much doing everything by the book. I AM very assertive & direct here. No vulgarity, no personal attacks, etc."
