Twitter censors user for tweets about transgenderism: A Twitter user shared a screenshot of their censorship notice. The user had tweeted "Unhinged behavior. Uvalde, now this? Hey Alphabet Gang, this 'day of vengeance' is a bad look. Do a favor for your 'movement' & cancel it while you're all ahead. If the Trans Community does not come out in droves to condemn this, it is clear where they stand" and "This is what concerns me is that they're all for it. They threaten violence if we don't play along with their delusion. We're a nation being held hostage by over glorified trannies" and "Many of our states are passing laws to protect children from indoctrination and mutilation/abuse. The Alphabet Gang has been calling for violence since we do not comply with their delusions." They included an image promoting the so-called "trans day of vengeance." Twitter claimed this tweet violated "one of [its] rules," but did not specify which one. The user's account was locked until they deleted the tweet. The account was additionally restricted to read-only mode for 12 hours. It appears Twitter censored every post about the Trans Day of Vengeance, even if the post criticized the event. Twitter VP of Trust and Safety Ella Irwin tweeted that the platform "had to automatically sweep our platform and remove >5000 tweets /retweets of this poster. We do not support tweets that incite violence irrespective of who posts them. "Vengeance" does not imply peaceful protest. Organizing or support for peaceful protests is ok."
