Twitter restricts user until he deletes tweet promoting interview with well-known cardiologist Dr. Peter McCullough: A twitter user posted purported screenshots showing Twitter restricted their account and forced them to delete a tweet promoting an interview with Dr. Peter McCullough, a consultant cardiologist and Vice Chief of Medicine at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. The tweet, which had to be removed by the user for their account to become unrestricted, read as follows: "July 20, 2021 - Dr. McCullough with Brannon Howse of WVW-TV on Lindell TV Live What About Shedding Post COVID Vaccination? Spike protein in secretions could transfer to someone else but unlikely to be serious. Thank you for posting: @cov19treatments." According to the screenshots posted by the affected user Twitter took action because the tweet violated its "policy on spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19."
