In this case from December 2021, the user posted a photo of a hunting rifle next to a tree rub, with text that said "Hoping to run into the party responsible for making this," meaning that he wanted to find the buck that made the rub. According to a screenshot shared with CensorTrack, Instagram claimed this post violated its "guidelines on violence and incitement." Given that this photo is a hunting-related image, this guideline is not appropriately applied to the post. Additionally, other similar guidelines make a clear exception for hunting-related posts.
