Twitter deleted a user's tweet for saying that men cannot define womanhood: A user tweeted "Dear cis folk, you don't get to tell trans people what is/isn't "transphobic". You don't get to decide what mediocre comedian gets to disrespect our community nor do you get to feel victimized. Transphobic jokes aren't harmless, they lead to 1 or more of us being beaten or killed[.]" According to a purported screenshot, another user responded to the tweet saying: "Dear men, you don't get to tell women what a woman is. You don't get to redefine womanhood as an idea in y our head. You don't get to disrespect women by pretending we are sex stereotypes while calling us by our body parts. Larping women isn't harmless, it destroys our rights." The purported screenshot shows that twitter forced the user to delete the tweet because it "violate[ed] [Twitter's] rules against hateful conduct." The platform explained that users "may not promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease."
