X community adds a context note to Libs of TikTok post: The X account for Libs of TikTok posted "ChatGPT says there’s no verified information or evidence that Trump was almost ass*ssin*ted and there have been no attempts. They’re erasing history in real time." The post included a screenshot showing the ChatGPT results claiming there had been no assassination attempt. The X community added a note to the post that read: "Readers added context they thought people might want to know. Whenever ChatGPT searches the web, it will show links x.com/openai/status/… GPT 4o has a training cutoff date of October 2023 platform.openai.com/docs/models/gp… In this tweet, ChatGPT did not search the web for relevant information, and instead relied on its knowledge up to October 2023." The label is part of X’s Community Notes system. X users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to posts. X owner Elon Musk shared that any post with a Community Note added to it will be demonetized. The Community Notes account on X also posted that notices will be pushed to users who previously engaged with a post when a Community Note is added to it later.
