Libertarian Party Mises Caucus

Twitter censors Libertarian Party Mises Caucus over a tweet about violence in New York City: A member of the Libertarian Party's Mises Caucus shared a screenshot on his personal Twitter account of an appeal filed by the @LPMisesCaucus account over a tweet that was censored. The account tweeted "New York City is a monument to the ineffectiveness of anti-gun laws." It included, according to the member sharing the purported censorship notice, "a video of a shooting in NYC." Often such videos would, at worst, be labeled as sensitive content and placed behind an interstitial. However, in this case, the tweet caused the account to be locked until the tweet was deleted. The member commented, "[a]s long as troll armies can get content removed like this Twitter will unwittingly do the bidding of the anti-gun lobby." It is unclear what the outcome of the appeal was.
