Twitter censors user for referencing an image editing software: A Twitter user shared a screenshot of her censorship notice. In yet another example of Twitter's awful AI algorithm, the user had tweeted "That's a picture. I could make that in gimp." Gimp is an image editing software, which is obvious from the context of the tweet to anyone who has heard of the software, which apparently Twitter's algorithm has not. According to the screenshot, Twitter labeled the tweet "hateful conduct" and required the user to delete the tweet in order to unlock her account. Her appeal was rejected. The user also reported that her account was restricted for 7 days, but this was not reflected in the screenshot.
