Twitter restricts account for elm trees tweet: Twitter temporarily locked a user's account for reportedly violating rules against hateful conduct. The user tweeted, "Every female Manchurian Elm in @CityofRegina should be cut down and burned." In a tweet about the restriction, the user said, "I got locked out of my account all day today for saying mean things about Elm trees." He appealed Twitter's decision. After reviewing the appeal, Twitter "determined a violation did take place, and therefore we will not overturn our decision."
