Kenneth W. Chenault

Facebook deleted then reinstated a comment for speaking favorably of Kyle Rittenhouse: Eighteen-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse was charged with first-degree murder after he killed two men and injured another purportedly in self-defense during one of the 2020 Antifa riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Screenshots tweeted by the user show that the user commented explaining that Kyle Rittenhouse acted in self defense. He wrote: "Kyle wasn't 'standing his ground'. He was actively fleeing from danger when he finally defended himself. BIG difference here folks. Stand your ground means you don't budge and defend. Kyle did everything right per the laws of the state from what I can tell. By the laws of the state he didn't even break the law by carrying a dangerous weapon at the age of 17. It's all in the details... or what's right on the video" Facebook removed the comment claiming that it "[went] against [its] Community Standards on dangerous individuals and organizations," according to another tweeted screenshot. The user appealed Facebook's decision and upon a second review Facebook restored the comment.
