Joy In Liberty

PayPal refuses services to account raising funds for Trump supporters: The payment processing company PayPal has stopped allowing an account, which has been raising funds for Trump supporters, to use its services, according to CNET. The account, Joy In Liberty, has been requesting funds for travel related expenses incurred by those who went to Washington, D.C. for the Jan. 6 protest that led to chaos at the Capitol. "PayPal carefully reviews accounts to ensure our services are used in line with our long-standing policy," the company said. "We do not allow PayPal services to be used to promote hate, violence or other forms of intolerance." For the time being Joy In Liberty still has other avenues to process payments, such as Zelle and Venmo, but CNET journalists have been reaching out to them to inquire why the company has continued to allow Joy In Liberty to use its services.
