Twitter censors user for tweet about Kyle Rittenhouse: A Twitter user shared a screenshot showing his censorship. On November 2, 2021, The New York Post tweeted a collage of pictures of Kyle Rittenhouse yawning in court during his homicide trial. The outlet noted, "Kyle Rittenhouse repeatedly yawns in court during homicide trial." In a comment tweet, a user stated: "Kyle did nothing wrong." It is unclear if he was referring to Rittenhouse's charges, of which he was fully acquitted, or the fact that he was yawning. In either case, Twitter deemed the content worth censorship. The user appealed the notice, but said that after waiting 30 days for his appeal, he finally just deleted the tweet so that he could regain access to his account. This was well after Rittenhouse's acquittal, which proved that he did in fact do nothing wrong, yet Twitter still had not reversed its decision to censor the tweet.
