Twitter censors user for tweet about ineffectiveness of masks for health care workers: A Twitter user commented on a tweet from The Today Show that read: "A crackdown on mask-wearing for healthcare and quarantine workers is just weeks away after surgical masks were deemed ineffective." He elaborated that "when working in close contact with any & all #Covid19 patients," "[m]edical #masks are ineffective to protect #healthcareworkers." He explained that this is because "Patients shed the most #SARS2 virions before intubation or ventilation." Twitter claimed that his tweeted violated its "policy on spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19." His account was locked until he deleted the tweet.
