Another Republican congressional candidate reportedly restricted on Twitter: Jake Evans, a Republican candidate running to represent Georgia's sixth congressional district, reportedly had his Twitter account restricted for a period of time until Twitter resolved the issue, according to reports from National File. Evans is at least the second Republican candidate running for state or federal office who has had their account on Twitter restricted recently. "You can always spot the true conservatives by Big Tech’s efforts to silence their voices,” Evans told National File. “Somehow this never happens to Democratic candidates. We posted nothing offensive, nothing inaccurate," he added. "We used Twitter to announce the endorsement of the Atlanta Tea Party and all of a sudden our account was frozen."
