Jackson Lahmeyer

Facebook restricted account of U.S. Senate Candidate after he allegedly commented on the Kyle Rittenhouse trial: Eighteen-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse was charged with first-degree murder after he killed two men and injured another purportedly in self-defense during one of the 2020 Antifa riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Jackson Lahmeyer, a Republican U.S. Senate Candidate for Oklahoma, claims he wrote a post related to the ongoing Kyle Rittenhouse trial and that the post led to a 30-day restriction of his ability to live stream on his Facebook account. A screenshot Lahmeyer posted to Instagram shows that Facebook removed the post because it "goes against [its] standards on dangerous individuals and organizations." The platform added that the extended account restriction resulted "because [he] previously posted something that didn't follow [its] Community Standards."
