Facebook removed a user's post defending Kyle Rittenhouse and restricted his account for 30 days: Eighteen-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse was charged with first-degree murder after he killed two men and injured another purportedly in self-defense during one of the 2020 Antifa riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin. According to a screenshot tweeted by a Facebook user, he made a post saying: "Kyle Rittenhouse missed having his brain bashed with a skateboard by inches, after being prevented from turning himself into police. He absolutely had to defend himself from this throng of violent attackers. He was there to help and protect people and property that night and that enraged the criminal scum who were there to hurt people and destroy property in the name of a racist Marxist organization..." Facebook removed the post claiming that it "[went] against [its] standards on dangerous individuals and organizations," according to screenshots. The photo also shows that Facebook limited the user's ability to live stream and advertise for 30 days.
