Immanuel Baptist Church

YouTube cites copyright and content violations after shutting down livestream of talk from ordained minister: Immanuel Baptist Church was hosting a series of talks from best-selling author, distinguished scholar, and recently ordained minster Carl Trueman. The Sacramento-based congregation (Congressional District 6) decided to livestream Trueman's remarks via YouTube, but the stream was "booted off the air" twice, according to an Op-Ed published by The Wall Street Journal. The first interruption reportedly came with a notice that the video had violated YouTube's copyright rules, which The WSJ surmised could have been related to Christian music that was played during a break in the talk. The second "more mysterious instance" was due to a purported "content violation," according to The WSJ editorial.
