Twitter locked a user's account and deleted her content for claiming that the word 'woman' identifies human sex categories: A user tweeted in response to other users "I was about to reply to his tweet to you but I've been blocked so.... No 'women' are the sex category for humans - like a 'mare' is for horses and 'sow' is for pigs," according to a purported screenshot tweeted by another user. The purported screenshot shows that twitter forced the user to delete the tweet because it "violate[ed][Twitter's] rules against hateful conduct." The platform explained that users "may not promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease." [Emphasis added].
