Twitter censors user for tweeting opinion about masks: A Twitter user's account was locked due to a tweet about masks. The tweet read: "This is the biggest lie ever told: wear a mask = protect your neighbor. This psychological manipulation has misled so many people to believe this fallacy when all science for decades has shown community masking of healthy people does not prevent viral transmission." Twitter claimed that this tweet violated its "policy on spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19." The user was forced to delete the tweet in order to regain access to their account. The account was then restricted for 12 hours, only allowing the user to browse and use DMs during that time.
