Twitter censors user for tweeting about COVID-19: A Twitter user shared a screenshot of his censorship notice. He was quote-tweeting a tweet that read "You think #COVID19 is over? Hospital admissions are rising, and frontline HCWs are getting infected…and colleagues must pick up the slack." The censored user's response read: "The hospital figures at the start of #COVID19 were fabricated and embellished This has already been revealed, the govt even admitted it The #vaccines produce illness which has been blamed on #COVID If hospitalisation is increasing, it's due to an experimental drug you fool." Twitter claimed this violated its policy against "spreading misleading and potentially harmful information related to COVID-19" and locked the user's account. The user reported his account was restricted for one week after he was forced to delete the tweet in order to unlock the account.
