Twitter censors user for "hateful conduct," most likely because of a word out of context: A Twitter user shared a screenshot of another user's censorship notice. The user had tweeted a very innocent comment: "@megsmamma @StarTrek Is it my dear dear friend @SirPatStew ? @TheCannonHunter and I remember an excellent night in Stratford back in 72. Patrick and I were doing Chim chimney, dancing on the roofs and I attempted to do a Dick Van Dyke accent. Patrick sadly got angry and he never spoke to me again." According to the censorship notice, the user's account was locked and he was required to delete the tweet because it was considered "hateful conduct" by Twitter. This most likely was a faulty algorithm that picked up on Mr. Van Dyke's last name as an anti-lesbian slur, though it is not entirely clear.
