Facebook locks conservative page after posting Gateway Pundit article on mask-wearing study:  Facebook locked account features for the Freedom In America Facebook page after it posted Gateway Pundit's story about a recent study on mask-wearing published in the Medical Hypotheses journal. Two days after Freedom In America posted the story, Facebook locked posting and commenting features on the small conservative page for 24 hours. The platform explained, "we encourage free expression, but do not allow false information that could contribute to physical harm." The platform justified its decision citing the Gateway Pundit article and a post from September 2020 as violations of its "community standards."
