Twitter temporarily suspends conservative member of Spain's parliament for saying men can't get pregnant: Twitter suspended Francisco Contreras, a member of Spain's parliament and the country's conservative VOX Party, after he tweeted that men cannot get pregnant. Contreras' tweet was made in response to news reporting on a supposed case of a "pregnant man" giving birth to "his" child. "That’s a lie," Contreras tweeted, according to LifeSiteNews. "A man cannot get pregnant. A man has neither uterus nor ovaries." A Spanish publication, Counting Stars, pointed out that Twitter considered the statement from Contreras an "incitement to hatred," for which the platform locked him out of his account for 12-hours. Counting Stars also reported that in the midst of regional elections in Catalonia, Twitter censored the conservative VOX Party's account.
