Eric Metaxas

Twitter labels and restricts Eric Metaxas tweet about the election: Conservative Christian author and commentator Eric Metaxas would up on the wrong end of Twitter's censorship crusade. Metaxas tweeted: "FACT: It's not that there is no evidence the election was stolen, but that no court had the guts to HEAR the evidence. They dismissed the cases, NOT the evidence. They refused to look at it, because the price of getting involved was too high. THIS is how evil destroys a republic." Twitter applied its new, enhanced label to this tweet. The label, which explains how the tweet was restricted as well, said: "This claim of election fraud is disputed, and this Tweet can't be replied to, Retweeted, or liked due to a risk of violence." It linked to a Twitter information page titled "There is no evidence of widespread voter fraud in the 2020 US presidential election, government officials and election experts confirm." This page includes an unattributed summary of this issue, as well as what Twitter deems to be "What you need to know" about the issue. It also includes multiple tweets from liberal media Twitter accounts about the major points that Twitter deems important about this issue.
