Twitter slaps a warning label on Dr. Simone Gold's tweet criticizing the FDA's approval of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines, restricts commenting and liking: Dr. Simone Gold, President of America's Frontline Doctors and an outspoken critic of what she calls "medical cancel culture," tweeted her grave concerns about the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) approval of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. "BREAKING: The FDA has granted full approval to the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, despite significant side effects & deaths being reported in the VAERS system. Medical trials are not scheduled to be complete until April 2023," she said. "This is the most deadly medication 'approval' [in] history." Twitter put a warning label on the tweet, claiming "This Tweet is misleading. Find out why health officials consider COVID-19 vaccines safe for most people," with a link to a feed filled with tweets from the FDA, the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization. The platform also prevented users from commenting on, liking, retweeting or sharing the tweet on other sites. Users can quote tweet Dr. Gold's tweet only after being presented with a pop-up box with the same warning information.
