An account appearing to belong to McCullough tweeted out the interview, stating "Alright, we'll see how long this lasts up, great chat with @JoeRogan on health & C19 #PeterMcCulloughMD." YouTube took down the interview, claiming that it had been "removed for violating YouTube's Community Guidelines." The McCullough account later tweeted a snapshot showing that YouTube had issued a "Community Guidelines strike" against a YouTube account appearing to belong to McCullough for "medical misinformation." YouTube warned that McCullough would be prohibited from uloading, posting or live streaming for two weeks if he received another strike. McCullough responded to YouTube's actions, "Well, that was quick, #AI is well controlled. I'm working on my website so you can subscribe to my newsletter and weekly report, it's only a matter of time before they take me out of here as well."
