Donald J. Trump

Twitter continues its vendetta against President Trump questioning the election results, labeling almost two dozen of his tweets over the long weekend: Over the long holiday weekend, Twitter labeled 20 of President Trump's tweets with one of two labels. "This claim bout election fraud is disputed" was used 13 times, while "Election officials have certified Joe Biden as the winner of the U.S. Presidential election" was used 7 times. The majority of the tweets labeled with one of these two labels were Trump expressing his belief that the election was fraught with fraud. In many cases he was speaking specifically about the Georgia results. Several of the labeled tweets addressed Senators Josh Hawley and Ted Cruz planning to object to the results of the election. Several more included videos from Mark Levin and Judge Jeanine Pirro. One of his tweets was labeled with a link that said "Learn how voting by mail is secure." This tweet only included a video clip from Fox News. Additionally, tweets that Trump retweeted or quote tweeted were labeled with one of the same labels previously described 7 times. These included: one tweet about TN Senator Marsha Blackburn's statement on her objection to the Electoral College results; one video by former NFL player Herschel Walker expressing his views on the Georgia election results; and one tweet by Mike Lindell that accompanied a video promo for the January 6 March for Trump rally in Washington, DC, among others.
