Twitter announced in an Oct. 9 blog that labeled tweets are “de-amplified” through the platform’s own recommendation systems. Trump has been hounded with these labels ever since the election and it doesn't seem like they will be going anywhere anytime soon. Throwing doubt at claims from the president, which many of the approximately 75 million American citizens who voted for him support, is something the social media giant and progressives appear to relish.
