The tweet included a photo showing various groceries laid out on a counter, including several store brand items indicating the purchases were made at a Kroger store, a few name brand products, and some fruits and vegetables. Twitter added a label to the post that read "Readers added context they thought people might want to know." The added context read "This is false. According to Ralph’s/Kroger website, these items cost $70.82 plus applicable tax. The products and prices can be found here - ralphs.com." Twitter users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to tweets.
