X censors user's post about court ruling: Popular X account DiedSuddenly posted "The 9th Circuit Just Stripped mRNA Shots of Legal Liability Protection The 9th Circuit said it's not a vaccine if the claim isn't to PREVENT THE SPREAD. COVID shots were claimed to "reduce symptoms" and prevent hospitalization… Those claims make it a TREATMENT. SOURCE: Dr. Jane Ruby." The user included a screenshot from the ruling with relevant sections underlined. The X community added a note to the post that read: "Readers added context they thought people might want to know. The 9th Circuit did not strip mRNA shots of legal liability protection. The court found that the district Court misapplied Jacobson v Mass., vacated the district court’s order, and remanded the case for further proceedings under the correct legal standard. law.justia.com/cases/federal/…" The label is part of X’s Community Notes system. X users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to posts. X owner Elon Musk shared that any post with a Community Note added to it will be demonetized. The Community Notes account on X also posted that notices will be pushed to users who previously engaged with a post when a Community Note is added to it later.
