Twitter censors user's tweets calling transwomen males: A Twitter user shared a screenshot of her censorship notice. She had tweeted: "Trans women are male. They do indeed deserve protection from other males. Males can be violent. Females know that. That's why they don't want males in their safe spaces." and "Of course they exist. I know they exist. But transwomen are male, and FEMinism is about females, so no, FEMinism is not for transwomen. Because they're male." and "Lesbians are same sex attracted females. She's not female, so CANNOT be a lesbian. The fact that she thought it was a group she could join was entitled in itself, let along 'suggesting' they change their language to include her. Women's boundaries aren't up for negotiation." Twitter claimed these all violated its "rules against hateful conduct." The user was required to deleted the tweets in order for her account to be unlocked. She reported that her account was subsequently placed in a read-only restricted mode for one week, but this could not be confirmed.
