Facebook censors user for 18 month old joke meme post: A Twitter user shared a screenshot of her Facebook censorship notice. She claimed to be on a 30-day suspension from Facebook when she received a notice that a post from September of 2020 had been removed for violating Community Standards. The post was of a joke meme that said: "Life Hack: When cutting bagels put your finger in the stabilization hole to keep it steady" with an illustration to accompany it. Facebook's notice stated "[t]here are certain kinds of posts about suicide or self-injury that we don't allow on Facebook, because we want to promote a safe environment." The post was deleted.
