Twitter locked Citizen Free Press account: Twitter reportedly locked aggregation site Citizen Free Press out of its account after it posted a 2008 video of then-Democrat presidential nominee Barack Obama suggesting Democrats “controlled” Ohio voting machines. Twitter also “locked other users out from sharing or commenting on the offending tweet,” Just the News reported Nov. 19. In the video, Just the News said Obama had responded to an audience question about preventing a stolen election by saying, “Well, I tell you what, it helps in Ohio that we’ve got Democrats in charge of the machines.” Citizen Free Press’s anonymous founder Kane reportedly tweeted on his own account that his site “was mysteriously suspended” by Twitter after the tweet. Kane’s tweet appears to have been removed from Twitter.
