China watchdog channel on YouTube accuses platform of indirectly censoring them using demonetization: China Uncensored is a YouTube channel with over 1.5 million subscribers that is dedicated to investigating and exposing China and the Communist regime's authoritarian actions. "YouTube and Google is (sic) helping hide the crimes of the Chinese Communist Party," read the description of a video uploaded by China Uncensored. The channel claims the video, titled "YouTube Helps Cover Up China’s Atrocities" was demonetized by YouTube, and is just one of many examples of the platform's indirect censorship in favor of the Chinese Communist Party. "Over the years, we've been hit hard with demonetization, age restriction, or even had videos removed. And I've noticed a pattern to what gets flagged—any footage from China that makes the Communist Party look bad. They say we violate the vague YouTube Community Guidelines. But is that really what's going on? Or is it something much [more] sinister?"
